Ingredients
  

For the Rice:

  • 2 cups cooked short-grain white rice (preferably slightly cooled)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

For the Fillings (you can customize):

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • ½ cucumber, julienned (remove seeds)
  • 4 strips of yellow pickled radish (danmuji)
  • 4 imitation crab sticks or cooked beef (or tuna)
  • 4 spinach leaves or blanched spinach
  • 4 sheets of roasted seaweed (gim/nori)
