Instructions
Step 1. Make the Potato Dough:
- In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes until smooth.
- Add corn flour, all-purpose flour, rice flour, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt.
- Mix until it forms a smooth, non-sticky dough. If it’s too soft, add a bit more flour.
Step 2. Shape the Rings:
- Roll the dough into a ¼-inch thick sheet.
- Use a round cookie cutter or glass to cut circles, then use a smaller cutter to make the ring shape.
- Coat each ring lightly with breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
Step 3. Fry to Perfection:
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium flame.
- Fry the potato rings in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 4. Prepare the Buttermilk Ranch:
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, and sour cream.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Step 5. Serve & Enjoy:
- Serve your crispy potato rings hot with chilled buttermilk ranch dip. Perfect for parties, picnics, or a cozy movie night!
