Instructions
Step 1. Marinate the Chicken:
- In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and lemon juice.
- Let it sit for 10–15 minutes while you prepare the coating.
Step 2. Set Up the Breading Station:
- In one shallow bowl, add flour.
- In another beat eggs.
- In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs with parmesan cheese and dried herbs.
Step 3. Coat the Nuggets:
- Dip each chicken piece into flour, then into the egg, and finally roll in the breadcrumb mix.
- Press lightly so the coating sticks well.
Step 4. Fry the Nuggets:
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat (350°F / 175°C).
- Carefully drop in the nuggets in batches—don’t overcrowd.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side.
- Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Air Fryer Option:
- Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Spray nuggets with oil and air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
