Ingredients
  

For the marinade:

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 4 ounces Coca-Cola (the secret tenderizer)
  • ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp oregano
  • tsp Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the steak:

  • 2 pounds steak tips cut into 2-inch pieces
  • Canola oil, for searing
  • 2 tbsp finely minced parsley, for serving (optional)

For the garlic herb butter:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 fresh herbs (mix of rosemary, thyme, and parsley), finely chopped
