  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add bowtie pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2. Crisp the bacon:

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy (about 6–8 minutes).
  • Remove bacon and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate, leaving about 2 tbsp bacon fat in the skillet.

Step 3. Make the creamy sauce:

  • Add butter to the bacon fat in the skillet.
  • Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and milk, whisking gently.

Step 4. Add cheese & seasoning:

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5. Combine everything:

  • Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, coating it well.
  • Add crispy bacon back into the skillet and mix gently.

Step 6. Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
  • Serve warm with garlic bread or a side salad.
