Instructions
Step 1. Prepare the Peppers:
- Slice each mini pepper in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Lightly brush the insides with olive oil.
Step 2. Make the Filling:
- In a bowl, combine feta, cream cheese (if using), garlic, lemon juice, and chopped herbs. Mix until creamy but slightly chunky. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3. Stuff the Peppers:
- Fill each pepper half with the feta-herb mixture using a small spoon. Don’t overfill — the cheese will puff slightly as it cooks.
Step 4. Air Fry:
- Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F). Arrange the stuffed peppers in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the tops are golden.
Step 5. Serve:
- Transfer to a plate and drizzle with honey, sprinkle chili flakes, or top with crushed pistachios for a gourmet touch.
