Spicy Cajun-Style Seafood Boil Platter

Step 1. Boil Veggies:

  • In a large pot, bring the water/broth and bay leaves to a boil. Add the potatoes and corn. Boil for 10 minutes until slightly tender.

Step 2. Add Seafood:

  • Add the crab/salmon and shrimp to the pot. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the shrimp is pink and the fish/crab is cooked through.
  • Drain everything well and transfer the contents to a large bowl or serving platter.

Step 3. Make Sauce:

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and lemon juice. Let it simmer gently for 1 minute to bloom the spices.

Step 4. Toss and Serve:

  • Pour the warm Cajun butter sauce immediately over the hot seafood and vegetables. Toss gently to coat everything evenly. Serve immediately!
